Motorola RAZR2 V9 Is Upgrade to Motorola V8 RAZR 2 in the MOTORAZR2 Range

The Motorola RAZR edition was first launched over 4 years ago with the original Motorola V3 series of flip phones, these new and unique models took the mobile phones market by storm with their slim clamshell design, the slimmest available at the time.

Motorola soon saw the opportunity to release the V3 RAZR in different colours to target market different consumers and within a very short time span there were over 5 colour schemes to choose from, these included Red, Pink, Silver, Black and Violet.

The RAZR series went on to evolve into a 3G device for the 3 Mobile phone network in the UK, the Motorola V3x was the first RAZR edition phone to support video calling over 3G, this proved extremely popular and again the handset was released in further colours, the V3X Black, Blue and a new addition, the V3X Pumpkin.

Riding on the success of the RAZR series, the manufacturer then upgraded a number of the features and released the Motorola V3i, a slightly slimmer and more technically enhanced version of the V3. The camera had been upgraded as had the memory and music player and once again the model was launched in a number of colour variants including a Red, Purple and Black edition.

Moving on from the success of the 3G RAZR, the manufacturer then launched the new RAZR2 range of flip phones, the first being the Motorola RAZR2 V8, a slim, 3G enabled handset that featured a high specification camera and large internal memory, but the most significant design change was the externally controlled music and media player.

And so we come to the very latest RAZR2 release, the new Motorola V9 RAZR 2, a direct upgrade to the V8 but now with some added technology, as with the Motorola V8, the Motorola V9 is equipped with a 2.0 mega pixel camera with 8x digital zoom and high resolution video capture & playback along with a built-in Music Player and features touch sensitive dedicated music keys as part of the external 2 inch QVGA colour screen display.

Still a Quad Band GSM handset with GPRS and EDGE Technology, the Motorola RAZR2 V9 sees the addition of 3G Services and support for HSDPA with download speeds of 3.6Mbps over a Wireless Broadband connection.

Other high end features include video and audio streaming, video calling and voice recognition whilst still maintaining features such as Bluetooth Stereo with A2DP support, 2GB expandable memory and PC Synchronisation via USB as present in the Motorola RAZR2 V8 version.

The Motorola V9 RAZR comes with Crystal Talk technology, ensuring background noise is reduced to minimum interference when making voice calls. Having designed a new sleeker RAZR, the second generation handsets are both impressive and powerful devices.

The new Motorola V9 has been exclusively launched by Vodafone in the UK, the network have agreed a deal with the manufacturer for a limited time exclusive meaning that they will be the only network allowed to sell the model for an agreed number of weeks, after which the other UK networks will be allowed to buy stocks and offer this new super slim flip phone on their own platforms.
